'Oreo' Cookies

Cookie:
2 Boxes devils food cake mix
4 eggs
1 cup shortening

Cream Cheese Filling:
2 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla

Combine cake mixes, eggs, and shortening. Roll into 1" balls. Bake at 350 degrees
for 7 minutes (do not overcook). Cool. Note: It turns out best if all of these cookies are approximately the same size and are flat. If needs be, use a spoon to flatten cookies before baking.

Filling: Mix powdered sugar, butter, cream cheese, and vanilla till smooth. Spread
between 2 cooled cookies.
